The Advanced Manufacturing Technology program is designed to prepare students for employment with companies that have implemented team-oriented design, production, quality and maintenance systems within the modern manufacturing environment.

In Ranken’s state-of-the-art shop, students learn to program computer numerical control (CNC) devices, set up and operate CNC machines, execute ongoing maintenance and perform quality assurance and inspections.

Advanced Manufacturing students become proficient in the use of a range of equipment and control systems, including:

  • Haas machining centers
  • Mazak machining centers and the Mazatrol control system
  • Okuma CNC machines and Okuma’s One-Touch control system
  • Fanuc Control System

Students will also gain valuable skills through our internship program, which complements our technical CNC training with real-world experience.
